During our recent city break, we found a gem in Hotel Restaurant Fischer. Nestled in a serene rural location, it provided a fantastic escape not far from Cologne Bonn Airport. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from the owners made us feel right at home, a comfort we always appreciate when travelling with the family. Our room was impressively spacious, featuring a cozy sitting area that was perfect for unwinding after our day of exploring. With sound-insulated walls, we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep, which is vital when you're active outdoors. The highlight, though, was definitely the breakfast buffet; it was a delightful way to fuel up for the adventures ahead, boasting a variety of delicious choices that kept us happy every morning. Not to forget, the onsite restaurant was a treat as well-eating outdoors in the garden was a refreshing experience, with a menu that pleased everyone's palate. I can wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Restaurant Fischer if you're looking for comfort and hospitality-it's become an instant favourite for our family adventures, and I know we'll be back!
